See View provides a dramatic breakthrough in organising and viewing digital images. In simple terms it utilises pictures rather than words to interrogate, cluster and display digital image collections. This allows users to explore large image databases with ease, something that is not possible with the present technology. The first release of See-View, for use in internet driven applications, is capable of mapping collections of up to 1 million images. It will enable large sections of image collections (up to 500 images) to be viewed on a single screen by virtue of a "clustering" feature. This removes the limitations of the traditional linear viewing experience, which typically presents only 12-24 images to be viewed at any one time.
